 Well, the Hunewill Pond is completely ice free now. One of our guides (Andrew) and I were out there to check it out a couple days ago and had a great day. We hit the pond at about 11:30 and left about 4:00. During this time I think we caught at least 40 fish between us! Most were over 17 inches, and Andrew landed a Brown that was right at 26 inches!! We figured it weighed around 5 or 6 pounds. We caught fish on several patterns including Seal Buggers, Stillwater Nymphs, AP Emergers, Lite Brite Princes and RS-2 Emergers. It was quite a day. I expect it to be just as good for a while!!
