Well, we've received some great snow this past week or two, and the lake if rising fast! It looks like maybe the water situation will be pretty good for the upcoming season, if we stay on this track!! The East Walker has been fishing really well lately, mostly on nymphs, though it seems it doesn't matter what pattern. There has been very little pressure on the river, mostly folks from within the area, and only a few each week. The anglers we've spoken with after their time on the river have all done really well, most reports are from 15 to 40 fish for a day. The fish are healthy and are releasing well. Haven't heard of any hogs lately, but some nice fish up to 17 inches or so. Keep your eye on the weather and if it's half-way nice, you could be in for a great time on either the California or Nevada side of the EW. I'll keep you updated as I get more reports. Usually this time of the year the fishing just keeps getting better down there!!
