Versatile. Throughout the entire lineup, we've created a taper and action that best fit each specific line weight. Which is to say, the 3-weights give you exactly what you want in a 3-weight, with a smooth, progressive taper for delicate presentations. On the other hand, the larger line weights have a faster, more powerful action for heavier-duty applications. To completely cover the spectrum, we've also included some unique, special-application rods, like the 7'9" 3-weight and a saltwater version of the 6-weight. What every VT2 rod shares is a light, sensitive feel and an incredibly smooth power curve for faster line speed and ealier casting. So whatever angling situations you face, we think you'll find a VT2 that meets your needs. After all, it's the most versatile line of rods we've ever created.
